Asparagus

I don’t know if this link will work from outside Flickr, but it leads to the filthiest vegetable picture I have ever seen. Louise will love it.

Ooh-er, Vicar! The mystery is solved – this is clearly what that witch was keeping in her ‘kist of men’s members’. She was obviously an early modern Scottish asparagus fancier who was spotted by her male neighbours serially-devouring her prey with a knob of butter and great relish. After they had recovered from running away screaming in terror and managed to tell the minister, a legend was born!

    Sir —

    I would see the asparagus.

    I cannot. Kindly advise.

Dear Deb, the asparagus is as plain to me as, well, its referent. Either you have too pure a heart or you’re not a flickr member. Try signing up for a (free) flickr membership. If you still can’t see the picture, please consult your spiritual adviser.
