I think I understand trackback now. Thanks, Kieran. It’s a thought-provoking blog.


this ought to have worked, though I have done the whole thing by hand, since bookmarklets don’t function in Opera and I am reluctant to use IE for anything

I really don’t know — I’m checking — whether this is totally screwed up or whether I have added a trackback to Kieran’s blog every time I clicked on the link.

    Apparently I don’t, since whenever I press the “tackback” button, I just get a zero. Oh well.

    Hey – nearly there, I think. That link sends a ping to my blog entry every time the page is loaded, I think. (Might not be such a good idea.) Click on the trackback link for my entry (at http://fiachra.soc.arizona.edu/blog/archives/000029.html) to see the effect.
