   After all, this is a man who has gassed his own people. “Is someone on coke?” says that most hollow of the hot-tubbers, George Galloway. It is tempting to accept this verdict as all the proof needed that President Bush is solidly on the right track. But the argument needs to be addressed, not because it is not foolish but because it is the fashion among fools, and because those fools are sneeringly hollow fools.

   One day, Saddam Hussein’s rule will be at an end. On that day, we want to be able to look these people in the eye and tell them that we cared about them, too. The bizarrely appeasing hot-tubbers want it both ways. After Yassir Arafat obliterates the United States, they’ll say, “See, we told you so. It’s all George Bush’s fault.”

   The proof that our mission is proud and unique is that it’s so risky.

   I ask you, has our Republic seen the like of this cynical disgrace? Before it’s too late, we must learn common sense truth. We owe it to our children.
