Serendipity

The next entry on this blog will be the thousandth. I’m not sure how I should commemorate this milestone — perhaps proclaim a year of Jubilee? — but in the meantime, here’s a twelve sting guitar and a curiously shaped capo:

    That is called a Kyser capo. I have used those exclusively ever since 1979 or so. Bog-standard.

  2. Just what I was going to post. There’s nothing whatsoever unusual about that capo; they’ve been standard gear for guitarists for years. I have two within ten feet of me as I type.

    Their whole point is that you can put the capo on or take it off with one hand, minimizing interruption to a performance.
