Language log is one of the blogs which does the work that some mailing lists used to do ten years ago. I had never thought it would provide a justification for the use of regular expressions.<\/li>\n<li>An unscientific survey of comparative religious fervour: an article about <a href=\"http:\/\/technology.guardian.co.uk\/weekly\/story\/0,,1660763,00.html\">word processors<\/a> in the <em>Guardian<\/em> has drawn at least 60 responses, not all published here. An article about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/wormseyeview\/story\/0,,1673874,00.html\">cooking geese<\/a> has drawn one. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/comment\/story\/0,,1675678,00.html\">An article<\/a> on the study of actual religious religions has so far had no response at all. Ditto <a href=\"http:\/\/books.guardian.co.uk\/departments\/scienceandnature\/story\/0,,1675518,00.html\">the interview<\/a> with James Lovelock.
