And every year, I&#8217;m <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedubliner.ie\/cover_story_october_2002.php\" title=\"Catholic belief is much worse than child abuse\">wrong<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThere&#8217;s a certain irony in this, because the last conversation I had with him was to urge him to get bishops to sign his letter denouncing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darwinwars.com\/lunatic\/liars\/layfield.html\" title=\"The googled creationist site\">the creationists of Gateshead<\/a>. I don&#8217;t know if this only encouraged him to do something he&#8217;s smart enough to do anyway, or if put the idea into his head.<\/p>\n\n<p>But I really don&#8217;t understand why he can&#8217;t see that the most destructive answer to bad religion is better religion.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I think &#8220;this has to be the silliest thing Richard Dawkins will ever write about religion&#8221;.
