I had written that Murdoch&#8217;s London freesheet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thelondonpaper.com\">thelondonpaper<\/a> had urged viewers to go to its website and watch a video of two people fucking<sup class=\"footnote\"><a href=\"#fn1\">1<\/a><\/sup> on a roof. I know they did: it was Tuesday&#8217;s paper, and I picked it up walking through Liverpool Street station. There was a still in the paper of the couple at it doggy style, on the flat roof of a modern block of flats.<\/p>\n\n<p>But when I went to check the link on the web, it had gone; at least there was no reference to it. The paper copy I had thrown away as soon as the sudoku was finished. The <em>Guardian<\/em> changed the reference to a video of a poodle trying to hump a duck, which is certainly up there, but not really, or nearly, as unpleasant as voyeurism on humans.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"footnote\" id=\"fn1\"><sup>1<\/sup> not the term I used<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Curious edit in CiF today, where I had a piece attacking Andy Coulson and tabloid journalism generally.
